To provide a better experience while using our Service, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information. The information that we request will be retained on your device and is not collected by us in any way.

1.1 Location Data (GPS & Network)

Our app requests access to your Location Data (Approximate and Precise).

• Purpose: We use this data strictly to:
  • Calculate Magnetic Declination to provide accurate True North calibration.
  • Display your current Latitude, Longitude, Altitude, and Address on the dashboard.
• Storage: This data is processed locally on your device in real-time. We do not store your location history on our servers, nor do we share it with third parties for tracking purposes.

1.2 Camera Data

Our app requests access to your Camera.

• Purpose:
  • To enable the AR Compass feature, which overlays directional information onto the real-world camera view.
  • To turn on the Flashlight (LED) for the emergency light feature.
• Storage: The camera feed is used only for real-time display. We do not record or save images/videos unless you explicitly tap the "Capture/Snapshot" button. Photos taken are saved directly to your device's local gallery.

2. Third-Party Services

The app may use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you (e.g., for analytics and crash reporting). Links to the privacy policies of third-party service providers used by the app:

2.1 Firebase Analytics

We use Firebase Analytics to understand how users interact with our app, in order to improve features and user experience. Firebase Analytics may collect aggregated and anonymized data such as:

• Device information (model, operating system version, language, country/region).
• App usage events (screens viewed, features used, session duration).
• A pseudonymous app instance identifier (Firebase Installation ID / App Instance ID).

This data is processed in aggregate and is not used to personally identify you. We do not use Firebase Analytics for advertising or to build user profiles.

2.2 Firebase Crashlytics

We use Firebase Crashlytics to automatically detect and diagnose app crashes and stability issues, so that we can fix bugs and improve reliability. When a crash occurs, Crashlytics may collect:

• Crash stack traces and the state of the app at the time of the crash.
• Device model, operating system version, and app version.
• An anonymous installation identifier and approximate crash time.

Crash reports do not include your name, email address, location, or any other personally identifiable information.

3. Log Data

We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in a case of an error in the app, we collect data and information (through third-party products like Google Firebase Crashlytics) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.

We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers.
