Welcome to Period Tracker ("the App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

1. Overview

Period Tracker is a mobile application that provides menstrual cycle tracking, period prediction, symptom logging, basal body temperature charting, and fertility estimation features. The App is developed and maintained by an independent developer ("we", "us", or "our") under Parse Studio 9.

2. Use of the App

You may use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Distribute, sublicense, or sell the App or any part thereof
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels
• Attempt to bypass the App's security features (PIN lock, encryption)

3. Health & Medical Disclaimer

The App is a tracking and estimation tool only. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Important:

• Cycle predictions, ovulation dates, and fertility estimates are based on statistical algorithms and may not be accurate for your individual case
• Do NOT rely on this App as a method of contraception or for family planning decisions
• Pregnancy mode provides general informational content only — always follow your healthcare provider's guidance
• AI-powered insights (cycle summaries, daily tips, symptom patterns) are generated by on-device AI for general health reference only — they are NOT medical diagnoses or professional health advice
• AI responses are limited to menstrual cycle, pregnancy, fertility, and general women's health topics only
• Consult a healthcare professional for any medical concerns related to your menstrual cycle or reproductive health
• We are not responsible for any health consequences arising from reliance on the App's predictions, AI-generated insights, or other information

4. Pro Purchase

The App offers an optional one-time Pro upgrade at $2.99:

• Free tier: All core features — period tracking, cycle prediction, symptom logging, calendar, notifications, PIN lock
• Pro tier: AI-powered cycle insights (smart summaries, daily tips, symptom pattern recognition), statistics & trend charts, basal body temperature tracking, weight tracking, CSV & PDF data export, custom theme colors, and future premium features
• One-time purchase: Pay once, own forever. No subscription, no recurring charges
• Payment: Processed through Google Play. Subject to Google Play's refund policy

5. Data Ownership

All data you create in the App (period records, symptoms, temperatures, settings) belongs entirely to you. We do not access, store, or claim any rights to your data. Pro users can export all data as CSV at any time.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its code, design, icons, and content, is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved.

7. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• Google Play Billing — For processing Pro purchase payments
• Google ML Kit GenAI — For on-device AI processing. The AI model runs locally on your device; no health data is sent to external servers

Your use of these services is subject to Google's terms and privacy policy.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The App will be error-free or uninterrupted
• Cycle predictions, fertility estimates, or AI-generated insights will be accurate
• The App is suitable for medical decision-making

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, including but not limited to:

• Health-related consequences from relying on the App's predictions
• Unintended pregnancy or failure to conceive
• Data loss due to device failure, App uninstallation, or encryption key issues

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
